Don McLaughlin wrote on Tuesday, February 02, 2010 (PST):We had one just like it including the turn signals on the front fenders when I was a teenager. We bought it used from a government surplus equipment sale. I was equipped with a hydraulic dump and we stripped off the flare side box a built a grain box for it. It was a faithful grain truck for many years.

They made up wooden sides to extend the existing flare side box up taller than the cab and would dump in it with the Cockshutt 422 pull combine (which is still sitting in the barn). Of the truck, my Uncle would say; "it would haul 3 tons easy!"
